And just know that in a few years you won't find hiring personnel who DON'T have myspace, facebook and YouTube accounts. That's the thing with outdated ideas... they often die with the people who possess them. There's a natural attrition.

Unless they're talking badly about their employer or doing something illegal or doing drunk vlogging or something really weird, I don't think it's the employers business.
I'm not a lawyer, but in todays society I could easily see some lawsuits over employers doing this - if it could be proven.

I wouldn't put my username on it. But of course they always have possibilities to find out about people through the internet. Getting all the background information. But I think as long as you don't do anything wrong it should be no problem and also it is up to you what you're doing in your spare time. Others are doing bungee jumping and you're vlogging ... as long you don't talk bad about your employer I think your boss can't do anything against a vlogging hobby.

No it's not wrong. A lot of us who meet and make friends that we would have never met. It opens you up to meeting and share with people across the world. What's wrong with that. What's wrong with it is that people are always scared of all kinds of things and what you to be scared to. You next door neighbor could be a child molester raper and murderer and you would never know. Danger is possibly all around us. So what can a video do when yo have to choice not to watch. Please!

I disagree about discrimination. Believe it's more about "freedom of speech". Allow me to explain.
Discrimination has to do with age,religion,ethnic, or disabilities.
Freedom of speech allows you (if us of a citizen) the right to express yourself. That right can not be taken away. If it could be taken away it would be called an "entitlement" or "privilege".
We, as a people, should be evaluated for our abilities to fit an employment position. Not our views about our world. (IMHO)

It is not so much wrong that you share ur life and blog about urself, it is more or less the context in which u present ur views. Although we do have freedom of speech there are always going to be touchy issues involving racism, religion and such. So i would suggest that although it is a free country and u have freedom of speech u need to try and be somewhat professional about what u post, as it can come back on u and ur business and personal life as u mentioned in ur vid. Keep blogging...safe;)
