1) go into any hospital and read the poster on the wall - You can NOT be denied care, if so, dial 1-800 number
2) CASE LAW in Calif (all the lawyer senators KNOW THIS - why it's BS that it's in the bill) - in Calif prop passed to stop govt/state assistance to illegals (no section 8, welfare, medicaid, etc) and the law was STRUCK DOWN.
Which means - Every illegal will be covered under HC NO-reform. simple as that. YOU PAY

um I just crushed my hand at work went left for emerge at 10:30pm (prolly 30 minutes to get there and same returning) I was home by 1:10am. While I was there I had xrays some waiting time there cause the printer jammed and then after waited 15 minutes while ER doc made a consult with a plastic surgeon. having said this yes I have had to wait one time for 3 or 4 hours but this is the exception NOT the rule!!! one last point if it sucks so bad why do so many Americans ILLEGALLY use it?

PS I live in a border town and many US citicens come here and try to get a medicare card( an a lot get one)? Also many by grocceries here. but some of do the same. Some things are cheaper in the US but some are a lot cheaper here as far as gas goes it's about 15 minutes to the city across the border and the difference in price is so small as to make it not worth the trip...... unless you were going there anyway.

They ignore the statistics regarding how many people are cured from potentially deadly ilnesses. People with cancer, heart disease and other diseases have a longer life and cure rate than those in Canada.
Not all drugs available here are available in Canada because drug companies won't agree with the Canadian demand thay the companies sell their drugs at the Canadian governments choosiing.

A couple years ago in Windsor, Ont they closed emergency rooms during the last few weeks of the year a while back because there was no funding.
It was big new in Windsor that they had purchased another MRi machine. Nearly every hospital in the States have one but not in Canada.
The hip replacement of Canadaq is in Ohio, USA.

I dont believe in your BS. I am canadian living in California now. Last time i visited a clinic WITHOUT APPOINTMENT I had to wait 40 minutes. If they expect a delay, they will give you an appointment within th day and ask you to come back.
Gas: I live in alberta. Gas is (was.. last time i was there) 79c a litre - meaning slightly over $2.40 a gallon. In california, its $3.0 approx.

That is a funny video, but doesn't accurately portray the canadian system, I don't know what part of quebec this is filmed in, but i admit theres plenty of room for improvement! There is also plenty of room for improvement in the usa model which denies care to the equivalent of canada's entire population. I suspect that the multi- billion dollar profits of american health care providers could be behind posts like steve's above, but they wouldn't do that ,,, would they? naaaa!

In England where I'm from - we pay a lot in taxes for all the services and I can't get a dentist! It is horrible - wait times for simple tests.
unless you are bleeding to death, get in line and wait 9+ months or PAY again. I am so glad I'm in America now! Your system is great - I pay for HC insurance and have so much more money now I don't have all the taxes.
Don't do it America - you will end up with teeth like mine.
